Riki Clement

Associate Attorney


Riki is a native Houstonian and the first attorney in his family. While active duty in the United States Marine Corps, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science at the University of Maryland, University College (now  University of Maryland Global Campus) and his Masters in Science in International Relations at Troy University. After separation, he received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, which led him to his career as a licensed attorney in the state of Texas.

When he is not enjoying spending time with his friends and family, Riki enjoys historical tabletop wargaming and playing the piano.  


Before law school, Riki spend five years active duty in the United States Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge, he was accepted to the University of Houston Law Center where he participated in mock trial, moot court, and the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy.  While at the University of Houston Law Center, Riki was awarded the Gus A. Schill, Jr. Maritime Law and Professionalism Scholarship.

During his summers, Riki interned with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he was able to see first-hand how criminal cases were handled. He then accepted an internship with Valdez Legal Advocacy, PLLC, and upon passing the bar, became an associate attorney with Daniel Valdez.
